He worked in American and Turkish Insurance Companies and Milli Re as well as a five year term as an advisor in the Ministry of Planning of Saudi Arabia. He was the founder and managing director of Alexander & Alexander, Turkey Cecar and Çağdaş Insurance Brokers.
He has been a panelist at international conferences, He currently teaches risk management and insurance at Bosphorus and Kültür Universities, advises Eczacıbaşı group in risk management. He is also a board member of Satko Technology, Netone Telekom and Generali Insurance (Turkey).
