Graduated from Orta Doğu Teknik University Department of Mathematics (METU). She has completed the Insurance Institute certificate programs in non-life insurance and in actuarial studies.

She has worked for Koç Allianz Insurance as director of statistics and actuarial department, and in Türk Nippon Insurance Company as deputy general manager responsible for underwriting & reinsurance. She was also a member of the board of directors of Nippon. Currently she is working with major life and non-life companies as a consulting actuary.
